So far I have 5 k on them. On a 3/4 ton used for pulling 14000lbs 5th wheel and 20 ft flat bed. Very low noise. Good traction wet and dry. I have no complaints or regrets so far.

The best all-season tires for light trucks, crossovers, and SUVs are the ones that can deliver year-round traction in changing weather conditions, long tread wear, excellent road manners on the highway, good steering feedback and response, low noise, forgiving ride quality, and handling that’s capable and predictable. That’s what you can expect with the Multi-Mile Trail Guide HLT, and at a surprisingly affordable price.
So what is it about the tire that makes it such a great choice in an all-season tire for light trucks? Let’s take a closer look with this Multi-Mile Trail Guide HLT review:
Features and Benefits
There’s plenty to like about the Multi-Mile Trail Guide HLT:
- Environmentally-friendly engineering and materials
- Large tread blocks and an optimized contact patch, putting more rubber on the road for enhanced handling, even wear, and shorter braking distances
- Four circumferential grooves, lateral grooves, and sipes work together to deliver traction in wet, dry or wintry conditions
- Tread pitch is computer-tuned and randomized to keep road noise to a minimum
- Backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life
- Great-looking outlined white letter or black letter sidewall

- Generous warranty coverage
CONS:
- Not great off-road
- Should not be used in moderate to severe winter weather conditions
- Fuel efficiency could be better
SimpleTire’s view on Multi-Mile Trail Guide HLT tires
Multi-Mile is a brand from TBC Corporation, which also is home to brands like Sumitomo, Eldorado, and Sailun. The Trail Guide HLT is a great value, in our opinion, and a tire that’s capable of punching far above its weight class. In wet weather, the Trail Guide HLT’s circumferential grooves do a great job of directing standing water behind the tire’s contact patch, evacuating it to cut through a film of water and resist hydroplaning. Road manners and straight-line stability are secure and solid on the highway, and steering response is crisp and direct without ever feeling touchy and jittery.
The Trail Guide HLT’s ride quality is composed and cushioned, even on irregular pavement or over railroad tracks. Noise levels on the highway are about what you’d expect with a premium Grand Touring tire, for a driving experience that won’t wear you out after hours on an interstate road trip. The 50,000 mile warranty is pretty commendable for a tire at this price point, and its year-round traction is what you’d expect from any all-season tire. No, it doesn’t perform well off-road (that’s not what a tire like this is designed to do), and it doesn’t get great traction in deeper snow (most all-season tires don’t). What it does do, however, is deliver great value and performance for light trucks, SUVs, and crossovers, at a price that will surprise you.

I love these tires. They have been great since day one up here in the Colorado Rockies. Will buy again!
Only had about 5 weeks. Dry traction great. Just drove in rain for two days and had good grip with no hydroplaning. Very quiet tires and soft smooth ride. So far great for the price. We'll see how it handles in Wisconsin winters.
Only been a month but very quiet and smooth with good dry road traction. Haven't been in rain or snow yet.
I drive a 2008 Honda Ridgeline and I'm buying my second set after 50,000 miles.
I bought 4 tires for my Dodge ram 1500. They look GREAT. I bought them in October 2023. My front end needed repairs and the tire on the front drivers side wore quickly on the outter tread. I got the front end fixed and aligned but its too late for that tire its alreay worn to the threads Im getting two new front tires tomorrow of this same brand. They ride great and look great and the price is way cheaper than the big name brands
Live in Colorado so needs a tire that can grip in the snow I have not been impressed by these tires in snow especially or in a mild off road Conditon just dirt not super good either
Not knowing this brand of tire I was skeptical at first but now I am seeing potentially what a great value this tire may become over time. It has good handling and and has a comfortable ride. It also does decent on dry roads and stops great on wet roads as well. It has a 50k mile warranty and at such a low price gives me confidence it will provide value many years to come. So I am very happy with my purchase.
